First Baptist Church Martinsville
Called to be the people of God

Mission Statement:  The congregation of First Baptist Church, led by the Holy Spirit, convenants to worship Almighty God and to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Consistent with the Great Commission, we will share our spiritual gifts beyond our doors with enthusiasm, generosity, and grace.

“Some say that there is a treasure at the end of the rainbow. At First Baptist, we believe that there is a treasure in God’s word and in the fellowship of other believers.”

CHURCH WIDE MISSION PROJECT FOR JANUARY CONTINUES.  We are collecting mittens and toboggans during the month of January.  The entire church body is encouraged to become involved in missions by purchasing these items and placing them on the tree in the Narthex.  This year, these mittens and toboggans will be shared with children in elementary schools in our city.

DIACONATE PROJECT: If you have difficulty parking your car and walking to your Sunday School classroom or Sanctuary, please call the church office to arrange assistance. Help is also available if you need transportation to church.
